VERTICAL BOND BEAM STIFFNESSES
The earthquake code states that vertical bond beams may suitably be used at building corners, at wall intermediate sections, and at the edges of door and window openings, but no guidance is given on how they should be accounted for in calculations.
Explanation of the Difference in Performance Results Between Versions
CONTRIBUTION OF WALLS WITH INSUFFICIENT CAPACITY TO THE STOREY SHEAR FORCE 1. In StatiCAD-Yigma VERSION 3, earthquake forces are applied in the X and Y directions. The absolute value of additional shear forces acting on walls due to torsion is taken.

Save error
If an error occurs while the program is saving, paste the attached StatiCADData file into the C:\StatiCAD\YigmaV4Pro folder, overwriting the existing file.
Version 4 DWG Import
You can watch how to create a structural model from an architectural project (dxf, dwg) in StatiCAD-YigmaV4 by clicking here.
SOLID WALL SEGMENTS
In the StatiCAD-Yigma program, drawing walls as a single piece along the axis without splitting at room intersections, and when a door or window is drawn within a wall, the program divides the wall by doors and windows rather than at room intersections, which is the correct approach in terms of code criteria.
Slenderness Ratio
SLENDERNESS RATIO CALCULATION Procedure for a selected wall: (Storey height – bond beam height at top of wall) / wall thickness = slenderness ratio
Filling Out the At-Risk Building Detection Form
Filling out the Masonry Building Evaluation Form in Version 4. Since the sample building above has a half-basement, the basement storey seismic forces are lower than those of the ground floor.
ADDITIONAL ECCENTRICITY AND BUILDING IMPORTANCE FACTOR IN EXISTING BUILDINGS
In accordance with Earthquake Code Chapter 7 Article 7.4.8, additional eccentricity shall not be applied in assessment and retrofit projects of existing buildings. Project general
