DIFFERENCES IN STOREY TORSIONAL MOMENT CALCULATION IN VERSION 4

In the formula

Mx=V*ey

My=V*ex

Vxi=(V*kxi/toplamkxi)-V*kxi/J*ey*(yi-yc)

Vyi=(V*kyi/toplamkyi)-V*kyi/J*ex*(xi-xc)

In the formula

(V*kyi/toplamkyi) is the torsion-free shear force acting on the wall

+V*kyi/J*ex*(xi-xc) is the shear force acting on the wall due to torsion

If a wall's capacity is insufficient in the positive or negative direction of the earthquake, this ensures that the wall is included as an insufficient wall in the sum of Insufficient Walls (Ve total) when calculating the contribution of structurally inadequate walls to the storey shear force (risk ratio).

In Version 3, however,

Mx=V*ex ;

My=V*ey ; were used, resulting in different outcomes.

We believe that the arrangement in Version 4 is correct.
