Determining Timber Classes

As is known, ABTYE 2025 classifies timber elements according to their fm,k value and into softwood or hardwood classes.

A classification of timber obtained from some tree species grown in our country is presented below. For materials other than these, testing may be carried out or national/international standards may be consulted.
