Reducing Slab-Induced Load Transfer Errors

In the StatiCAD-Yigma program, if there is a partial discontinuity along any edge of a slab (for example, if only 1 m of a 4 m slab edge is supported), the program treats that edge as fully supported and attempts to transfer load to it. Loads in the unsupported portion of the slab cannot be transferred. To prevent this issue, defining a virtual beam/bond beam with zero height in the unsupported portion eliminates the load transfer error.
