Command Line
The commands available in the command line added with the version 9.0.4.0 update are listed below.
When W or w or wall or shear wall is typed in the command line and Enter is pressed, the shear wall/wall properties form appears on screen. After making the necessary adjustments (wall/shear wall type, material properties, thickness, offset, etc.) and clicking the OK button, the program waits for the coordinates of the first point.
When waiting for the coordinates of the first point, you will see:
Enter Wall Start Coordinate (X,Y) or (@dX,dY) or (@L<A).
Here, the (X,Y) option is for (Global Coordinate Values),
the (@dX,dY) option is for (Local Coordinate Values Relative to the Last Clicked Point),
and the (@L<A) option allows entry by specifying (the length and angle of the point from the last point).
For example, if you want to enter the wall start coordinate in X,Y format, typing 100,200 sets the point x=100, y=200 measured from the origin as the wall's start coordinate.
If you want to enter the wall start coordinate in @dX,dY format, typing @100,200 sets the point x=(last point's X coordinate + 100), y=(last point's Y coordinate + 200) measured from the end point of the last drawn object as the wall's start coordinate.
If you want to enter the wall start coordinate in @L<A format, typing @100<45 determines the X1,Y1 coordinate of the wall with distance L and angle A measured from the last used point.
After entering the first coordinate and pressing Enter, you can enter the 2nd point using the same (X,Y) or (@dX,dY) or (@L<A) format.
Other command line commands you can use:
M or m or J or j commands draw a retrofit jacketing.
EA or ea draws an inclined axis/grid line.
