Move Selected Elements onto the Selected Grid Line

If the number of selected grid lines is 1 and there are selected elements, the Move Selected Elements onto the Selected Grid Line option becomes active in the mouse right-click menu. When this option is checked, the selected elements are shifted so that they are defined relative to the selected grid line.

Intersect 2 Elements

If the number of selected walls is 2 and no beam is selected, or the number of selected beams is 2 and no wall is selected, or the number of selected walls is 1 and the number of selected beams is 1, the Intersect 2 Elements option becomes active in the mouse right-click menu. When this option is checked, the nearest end points of the selected elements are adjusted so that they intersect. If a slab is also selected together with the two elements (wall or beam), the nearest end point of the slab is also moved to the intersection point of the 2 elements.

If on the Foundation Storey, the same operation can be performed between continuous foundation beams and raft/mat foundations.

Move the end point of the selected walls and bond beams to the grid line on which the right-clicked element is defined

If one or more walls or beams are selected and a right-click is performed on an unselected wall or beam, the option Move the end point of the selected walls and bond beams to the grid line on which the right-clicked element is defined becomes active. When the option is selected, the nearest end points of the walls or beams are brought to the grid line on which the right-clicked element is defined.

Align Selected Elements with the Right-Clicked Element

If more than one element is selected and a right-click is performed on an unselected wall or beam, the Align Selected Elements with the Right-Clicked Element option becomes active. When the option is checked, the selected elements are placed on the grid line on which the right-clicked element is defined, and the eccentricity of the right-clicked element is applied to the selected elements.

Move the Selected Jacket onto the Selected Wall

If one or 2 jackets and one wall are selected, the Move the Selected Jacket onto the Selected Wall option becomes active. When the option is checked, the end definition points of the jacket are moved onto the end definition points of the wall.

Move Selected Fictitious Jacket onto the Selected Door/Window

If one or 2 fictitious jackets (jackets above doors and windows) and one door or window are selected, the Move Selected Fictitious Jacket onto the Selected Door/Window option becomes active. When the option is checked, the end definition points of the fictitious jacket are moved onto the end definition points of the selected door or window.

Select Elements Attached to Grid Line in All Storeys

If one or more grid lines are selected, the Select Elements Attached to Grid Line in All Storeys option becomes active. When the option is checked, the elements defined from the selected grid line (or its copy) in all storeys are selected. If desired, the option Show Only Objects Selected in Plan View in the options section of the 3D Edit screen can be used to obtain a view of the selected elements (grid line) throughout the entire building, or easier editing can be accessed from the 3D Edit screen.

Convert to Curved Slab

If one or more rectangular or trapezoidal slabs are selected or right-clicked on, the Convert to Curved Slab option becomes active. When the option is selected, the slabs are converted into 8-node quadrilaterals that are meshed without analysis, with a blue control point (control node) at each of the 4 corner points and a green control point (for curvature) at the midpoint of each of the 4 sides. When a relevant node point is selected and the Change Property option is clicked (or the node coordinates are edited), the slab meshes are automatically calculated to form a curved shape and can be converted into curved-form slabs.

Create/Modify Mesh in Curved or Polygon Slab

If curved or polygon slabs are selected or right-clicked on, the Create/Modify Mesh in Curved or Polygon Slab option becomes active. When the option is selected, the mesh can be regenerated in the resulting form using the Delete Mesh and Create Mesh options with the specified settings.

Create Grid Line from Selected Elements

If one or more walls or beams are selected, the Create Grid Line from Selected Elements option becomes active. When the option is selected, grid lines are created from the points at which the selected elements are defined.
